1. What we collect

ProTools collects the following information when you use our website:

• Page views: which pages you visit on our site (page URL and visit time). No personal identity is attached to this data.
• App installs: when you install our PWA app, we record the event along with your device platform (e.g. Android, Windows). No personal identity is attached.
• Lead forms: if you fill in a contact/enquiry form on our site (for example, business enquiries), we collect the name and phone number you provide, plus the enquiry type.

2. What we do NOT collect

• Your files stay on your device. Our PDF and image tools run 100% in your browser using JavaScript. Your documents and photos are never uploaded to our servers.
• We do not collect your precise location, contacts, or any data from your device beyond what is listed above.

3. How we use your data

• Page-view statistics help us understand which tools are popular so we can improve them.
• Install events help us measure how many people use our app.
• Lead-form details (name, phone) are used only to respond to your enquiry — for example, contacting you on WhatsApp if you asked for business services.
• AI tools: When you use our AI features (Doubt Solver, AI Assistant, Scheme Finder AI tips), your question/text is sent to a third-party AI service (Pollinations AI, https://pollinations.ai) to generate a response. We do not send your name, phone number, or any other personal identifier with these requests — only the question text you typed. The AI service may log requests per its own privacy policy.

4. Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing. Anonymous usage statistics (page views, install counts) may be displayed publicly as site stats — these contain no personal information.

5. Data storage

Data is stored securely on Supabase (hosted in Mumbai, India). Lead-form entries (name, phone) are stored with insert-only access — they cannot be publicly read. Page-view and install statistics contain no personal identifiers.

6. Your rights

You can request a copy of the data we hold about you, or ask us to delete your lead-form entry, at any time. Contact us via the Contact page and we will respond within 7 days.

7. Cookies & Advertising

We do not currently use advertising or tracking cookies. Your browser's local storage may be used by individual tools to remember your preferences (for example, PWA install prompts).

Google AdSense (when enabled): If we display ads on this site in the future, Google may use cookies — including the DoubleClick cookie — to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. 8. Analytics (when enabled)

If we enable Google Analytics in the future, it will collect anonymous usage statistics (pages visited, tool actions such as "merge completed") to help us improve the site. Analytics data never includes your file names, file contents, or personal identifiers. You can opt out via the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change what data we collect, we will update this page and change the "Last updated" date above.
